Mark is a self taught artist who’s work references abstract expressionism, fauvism and colourists in a purposefully naive manner.

His work is gestorial and physical in nature whilst being painterly in execution. He has experimented with industrial materials and supports, with his work exploring minimalism while his work now inhabits the familiar language of paint on canvas.

Mark’s early work captured the freedom and joy of coastal things whilst he has recently moved on to explore the urban environment in both New York and London.

He has several degrees including a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the Arts University Bournemouth and his work is collected in both the UK and abroad.
